When at the university I decided to study foreign languages, I thought I was going to become a teacher. I happened to work in tourism by chance just to make some petty cash during the summer months while practising spoken languages (german in particular).  That’s when I fell in love with it and never quit it since then.
I’ve been working at Versiliana Viaggi for 15 years. My role within the company started with the booking management, which led me to constantly deepen the knowledge of my Homeland. Today, I’m responsible of the booking department, including accommodation, transfers, tailor made itineraries and tours for individuals and groups.
Three qualities a good travel agent needs: keep learning, customers trust your deep knowledge of the territory; never loose your smile, there is always a good reason to smile when you are selling holidays; know how to listen in order to better assist your client.
Good food, and I’m pretty lucky to live in Tuscany where there are plenty of food temptations.
Love jogging, especially by the sea. I’m a passionate novel reader, as I think reading novels allows you to watch the world with different eyes, a kind of travel without moving.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take out breath away.
